Things that have made me happy this week...

Cosy socks and countryside walks

On Saturday, I put on my cosy socks and Rob and I drove down into Kent (near to where we've been house hunting) to enjoy a countryside walk in our wellies. The weather was pretty miserable and we got a little bit cold and soggy but it was so nice to be outside in the fresh air after working a load of nightshifts the week before! We parked at the Bough Beech, one of Kent's Wildlife Trust's nature reserves and went for a walk from there. There are quite a few oast houses in the area, I love them!

On Saturday night I went into London with some work friends for a colleague's leaving do. After an amazing dinner in Soho we enjoyed the yummiest cake in Caffe Concerto, followed by drinks in The Ice Bar, just off Regents Street. I hadn't been to The Ice Bar since my first year of uni... so about 6 years!! It was fun to see all the creative ice sculptures and enjoy a few drinks with the girls, even if we did feel pretty stupid in our big blue capes...!

Running
I've managed to squeeze in some good runs this week, I love how good running makes me feel, I feel so much more positive for it. I've been enjoying some new routes through Greenwich Park... How beautiful does it look with the amazing blue skies and autumn leaves?!

How has another week passed already?! These Friday posts always make me realise how quickly the weeks seem to go! After a brilliant few days off work last weekend, I was back to work on Monday and have had a fairly busy week. I've got uni today... the work never seems to stop!! I'm pretty tired so I think my Friday night will be spent at home with a bubble bath and some dinner. It makes me feel old and boring saying that but I can't think of anything better!

I'm working all of this weekend, so I wont get a chance to properly relax until Tuesday... I'm counting down the days already! I've also been busy Christmas shopping and finding things to put in Rob's stocking... why are men so difficult to buy for?! Any ideas would be much appreciated! Has anyone else started their Christmas shopping?
