Things that have made me happy this week...
Long, hot, bubble baths
Perfect on cold, wintery mornings, to warm up and relax...
Morning walks
As I've mentioned before, I love my walks home after nightshifts. I find that half an hour of fresh air helps me to sleep better during the day. Winter has finally arrived in England this week, the temperatures have dropped and it's felt a lot colder with frost on the ground yesterday. Greenwich Park was looking sparkling and beautiful!
Starbucks red cups!
Yesssss, they're back! Which can only mean one thing... Christmas is nearly with us!! This makes me so excited! I love the build up to Christmas and there's so many exciting things planned this year. I had my first red cup yesterday in Tower Hill after visiting the poppies display at The Tower of London for the second time. It had changed so much since we went there first in August, there are now so many poppies and it looks incredible. If you're around in London this weekend, I'd thoroughly recommend a visit to pay respects to the fallen and to take some wonderful photos.

Christmas chocolate
Ok so I know it's only November but I could not resist buying advent calendars in Waitrose this week, along with some cheeky Cadbury's snowbites! I wanted The Thornton's Snowman advent calendar last year but it sold out quite quickly from all Thornton's shops so when I saw it this week in Waitrose I snapped it up! Advent calendars were on offer in Waitrose so I bought Rob a malteasers one too. The Christmas countdown can officially begin...eeeeek!!
It was Bonfire night this week in the UK, but as I was on nightshifts (again!) I missed out on all the fireworks which was a shame. But that's the price I paid for being off work this weekend I guess...! Being a shift worker, I don't usually have 'that Friday feeling' but this weekend I can feel like a normal person, which is a bit of a novelty!! Today is a day for chores, chores, chores. I'm cleaning the entire flat from top to bottom, it's going to be sparkling clean by this evening!! We're meeting Rob's mummy in Westfield tonight, as we haven't seen her for ages. I think we're going to have dinner and watch a film at he cinema. Tomorrow Rob and I are having a day together, just the two of us. I think we'll probably go on a walk somewhere and then in the evening I'm off into central London for a work friend's leaving do. Sunday I think I'll go on a run and relax on the sofa, making the most of a cosy Sunday at home!
What are your plans? I hope you have a lovely weekend whatever you're up to!

Long hot baths never fail to make me happy! I love them! I ate my first Christmas chocolate last week too, Halloween hadn't even been yet and I was sat eating my snowman shaped choc! Have a lovely weekend :)
