This week's happiness

Things that have made me happy this week...

Tea in bed.
Nothing beats a cup of tea in bed on a Sunday morning. Especially when it's a cup of earl grey tea made by my mum, in my old bed at my parents' house. Heaven.

Cosy rainy days...
Us Brits tend to make a bit of a habit of complaining about the weather... there seem to be endless rainy days. But this week I've secretly enjoyed the rain as it has equalled cosying up at home with candles lit. Sometimes nothing feels more perfect than staying indoors and watching the rain.

 Sister time
With my sister living in Bristol and me in London, we don't dedicate enough time spent with each other which is something I often regret. We were both back at my parents house last weekend so we took the opportunity to go for a sister coffee date to have some quality sister time. She's the best.

So my annual leave is well and truly over and normal service has resumed. I wish holidays could last forever but hey, I guess they wouldn't be so special if they did. I've been back to work this week so it's been a busy week and I hate to admit that I'm tired already! Rob kindly passed on to me his stinking cold so I've been feeling a little under the weather. I really dislike feeling ill, I think it's true that nurses make the worst patients! Thankfully I'm feeling a bit better now, just in time for the weekend, all of which will be spent at work! Hey ho...
What have you got planned? I'm already counting down the days until next weekend when my sister and I are taking Mum on a surprise day out as a belated birthday treat and I'm really hoping that March will bring as much happiness as February did, I've really enjoyed this past month!

Lots of love,

Lydia xxx
