This week's happiness

Things that have made me happy this week...

A {much needed} haircut
I'm one of those strange people who hates having their haircut... I've had long hair for years now and I feel sad when it's chopped off! The hairdresser thought I was crazy, I nearly cried! But I desperately needed a cut, so I grew some balls {not literally} and went to the salon. It feels so much shorter, even though it's still pretty long. The hairdresser curled it all for me and I felt like a princess afterwards :)

Blue skies & lunch with my Daddy
We've had some beautiful, Spring-like weather this week in London. I don't mind Mondays at uni, because it means lunch on the Southbank with my Daddy. It's always nice to catch up with him, he's one of my best pals! Just look at that beautiful blue sky... I love how cheerful a bit of sunshine can make me. I do love London.

Strawberry showergel
I love this stuff. It smells incredible! You get out the bath smelling like a human strawberry <3

Celebrating our mortgage!
It's been a big week for us. Our mortgage offer has been accepted! So we went out for a Pizza Express dinner to celebrate, because pizza is always a good idea! What a massive relief. I'm still pinching myself and can't quite believe how well 2015 is starting. {There will be big house-hunting blogpost coming soon...}

Happy Friday!! I'm super happy today as I'm now on my annual leave for just over a week {yippeeeeeee!!!} and it seems that I timed it perfectly with half term so all my teacher friends are also off too! Rob and I are off to Milton Keynes today for my first skiing lesson, eeeeek! I am pretty petrified! I will let you know how things go but if I never blog again then you know why...!
Tomorrow is Valentines Day <3 did you see my Valentine's Baking: Jam tarts with hearts post earlier this week?! Have you got any plans to celebrate? We didn't really fancy sitting in a quiet restaurant with a load of other couples on cringey dates so we're off out in Shoreditch with some friends - we've booked to play crazy golf and have dinner at Swingers which should be super fun.
I'm not sure what we're up to on Sunday... probably not much, but it will be nice to have no Sunday night feeling as we're both off on Monday, and Tuesday...! On Monday night we're off to the theatre to see Once! The Musical. Have you seen it? I'm a bit too excited about seeing Ronan Keating on stage, haha.

Anyway, I'll stop rambling. Lots more blog posts lined up for the next few weeks :)
