This week's happiness

Firstly, apologies that there was no #thisweekshappiness last Friday. I've no other excuse other than I'm a rubbish blogger and didn't have the time due to work and a load of other things that seemed to absorb my time... But here I am, back on a roll with the blogging!

Things that have made me happy this week...

Sunny weather, happy feet
Hasn't the weather been glorious this past week?! It's been hard to believe we are in April, it has felt like Summer has arrived prematurely with bright blue skies, warm afternoons, mild sunny evenings and everyone in true British BBQ mode. I dusted off my sandals and have been enjoying summer dresses with bare legs, which equals happy toes!

The prettiest 'thank you'
How adorable are these cupcakes?! They were given to us nurses at work this week, as a 'thank you' from one of our patients. Such a generous thing to do. We couldn't believe how pretty they all were! ...*almost* too pretty to eat!

A burger date
I do love a Byron Burger once in a while! After copious amounts of packing, lifting, moving and driving this week we felt we deserved a burger date so we treated ourselves. So good! Especially sat beside the Thames in the sunshine.

Lonely Planet Traveller
This special collector's edition of "The World's Best City Breaks 2015" couldn't have come at a better time, as we're off to Rome for our much needed city break in less than two weeks time and there's a whole section on it! If you have a love for travel like I do and you aren't subscribed to the LP Traveller I'd totally recommend it. The best travel tips and wanderlust, delivered straight to your doormat.

This has felt like the longest, most exhausting week ever and if I'm honest I'm feeling relieved that it's over! I'm going to sleep so well tonight. We have now officially moved out of our beautiful flat in Greenwich and we're now living with Rob's Mum for a little while in East London {brap brap!}. It was rather sad saying goodbye to our beloved flat, like I said in my Packing My Life Into Boxes post it was the first place I had lived in since living with my parents that had felt truly like home for me. We made some really lovely memories there. But it was the right time to leave and hopefully if our house purchase continues to go as smoothly as it has been so far {fingers crossed} then maybe we wont be crashing Rob's Mum's house for too long, which I'm sure will please her!
I'm working all of this weekend which I'm a tiny bit gutted about because I was hoping to go and cheer on the London Marathon runners, but never mind.

I'm now counting down until my annual leave in May... it can't come quick enough, I'm so excited for a holiday!
