Things that have made me happy this week...
Blossom
Beautiful baby pink blossom spotted on my walk through Greenwich Park this week. Blossom fills the park at this time of year, it's got to be the prettiest thing about Spring for sure! I took these photos on my way home from one of my nightshifts, it was such a beautiful morning.
Home sweet home
It's true what they say, "tidy house, tidy mind". I tidied, vacuumed and cleaned every corner of the flat these past few days and I feel so much better for it. My head feels so much more organised! I have a feeling I'm going to miss this place a lot more than I thought when we move out in just a few weeks time, it's been the best first home that Rob and I could have wished for.

Seychelles
Yet again I'm in the middle of an assignment for uni and it's slowly making me want to pull my hair out! I get so stressed with deadlines. So I made my little work station all that more peaceful by lighting candles. Seychelles by The White Company is one of my favoutite candles ever ever ever, it's got such a sweet, holiday like smell. Rob got me a few of them for Valentine's, I'm a lucky one.
And what's been in my head aaaaaaall week:
Sugaarrrrr! Yes pleaaaaase!
So it's Good Friday and it's set to be a good, Good Friday! I think this is the first time in the past three years that I've managed to bag myself a whole bank holiday weekend off work {bank holidays don't stop people getting sick unfortunately}, so I'm rather chuffed. I've had what has felt like the longest, most exhausting three weeks of my life, so a nice four days off is much needed.
We're off to Surrey today to have lunch with one of my best friends and her fiancé which I've been looking forward to for a while and it's extra exciting because the four of us are going to look at booking our skiing holiday for next Winter! Rob and I will probably have a cosy night in tonight, we're both pretty tired from our hectic week of shifts and I haven't actually seen him for about five days {even though we live together... crazy!}. Tomorrow we may have lunch and a walk somewhere and then we're driving back to Hertfordshire to spend the rest of the Easter weekend with my family. My parents have got a few friends coming over for Sunday lunch after church and My Mum never fails to do a little Easter egg hunt around the house and in the garden, she's such a cutie! Then it'll be back to London on Sunday evening and Monday I'm catching up with a friend and doing some uni work before my row of nightshifts starts again on Tuesday.
Whatever Easter may mean to you, I hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the long bank holiday!
